What the fuck, what's the deal?
Where could we go from here that's more real than this?
What the fuck, what's the deal?
Where could we go from here that's more real than this?
What could be more real than this?
What's all this living, where do we go from here?
The days are all numbered like these six brown bottles of beer I picked up,
On my way back home.
To wash down the 8-ball, some vitamin C, cologne for the dawn,
What else do you need from me, just tell me what you need from me?
There's a fox in the field, there's rhythm in my feet,
That moves my body like this and everyone can see but only I know,
This body isn't me.
So, what the fuck, who can I call?
I just read the message in a bottle on the bar right here,
And I still feel you're near.
I've got a blue bottle got a fresh head of wine,
She called for me but I went wide, to a hiding place.
I'm gonna get it when I need it and she'll follow me down,
I'll pull the best out of my trick bag when I take her uptown,
I tied it up and hid it in that blue bottle again,
And we'll see, just don't say it ain't so.
So who the fuck, who's at the wheel?
Where would we go from here that's more real than this?
Aren't we more real than this?
What the fuck, who can I call?
I don't see the way and I don't hear- the call at all.
But I still feel you're near.
And when I leave my days behind,
And I sit down to write I wanna pen one thing that's true.
Is there one thing that's true
But the only thing I can say
Is that tomorrow will be not be like today.
There's nothing more to say.
